Howdy

We have been able to speak to every one this past week and are glad to hear that all is well. Looking forward to tri cities this week end. Mom is working a lot as of late, with 2 drivers she is able to go more. plus the bus, she is out most every day. Our company bought a terminel in Mukelteo and are looking for volenteers to move up north. I guess If I did go we could still live in woodinville, our old house is still for sale, but I don't think so but is fun to dream. Last Saturday I was at the Nisqually camp and saw Uncle Lamonts brother Richard we had a very nice visit and I found out that 4 of Sandi and Lamonts kids are expecting. Mindy, Holly, Kelly and Kayleen. We plan on spending time with Uncle Val will let you know of any news later. Called Mom yesterday and she is doing fine still playing for her musical group, that keep her occupied. Well will write more later.

Love you all

Chicken Pox Baby!

Well I'll be seeing a whole lot of the inside of my apartment for the next two weeks.  Violet has been sick the past few days and today when I was changing her I realized she was covered in small red spots!  I had Chicken pox when I was a kid and we are pretty sure Peter had them too, so we'll just be taking it easy for a while.  Violet doesn't seem to bothered by the pox yet but she is a little sensitive.

HI everyone. It has been a while since we have posted anything. I thought you might like to know what we are up to. . . Well, not much really. We are just plugging along everyday. We had a fun Easter and went to a friend's house for dinner. We are looking forward to comming to Washington for Samuel's blessing. Jonathan has been really busy at work, and at home, we are still getting used to having a baby brother. THe other day I asked Wesley what Momma's do and he said "get frusterated" -I had been frusterated earlier that day- I had a good laugh. Here are a couple of pictures.

Here is Sam 1 month old

Here is Sam 2 months old. He's almost 15 pounds and about 24 inches. As a result, I fit back into my "skinny" jeans! Horray!

Oh Boy, EASTER! We had a fun time having an Easter Egg hunt at our house. Hope all is well. Love, The Wood's

Love you all!

Happy Easter!

We hope everyone had a great Easter, we sure did! It was Violet's first Easter and her 10 month birthday. Violet is starting to take an interest in walking and will walk around if you are holding onto her hands. We got her a little push cart that transforms from a push car to a riding car, she likes to sit on it and be pushed around. Here are some pictures of our easter Morning, they are a little out of order.

After we opened easter baskets, Violet had a bath with all her easter eggs, she thought it was pretty funny and laughed and splashed the whole bath...Ellen was soaked afterwards!

Violet's first easter egg hunt, even though the eggs encircled her, it took a few minutes to find them all, she put each one in her mouth to make sure it wasn't chocolate!

Violet got some great books from her G&G Corier, she loves the fuzzy picture book and calls each page Cat.

Just excited to have discovered another holiday!

Cat...Cat....Roar!

Violet said her first word this week...Cat. Peter was pointing at my grandma's cat who was out the window and saying cat over and over and Violet just said cat! it was so cool, now all she wants to say is cat...she calls everything and everyone cat, it is hilarious!

She also plays a new roaring game. I say Violet what sound does the T-rex make and I roar and she roars back, we ahve a little bit of back and forth of roaring like dinosaurs and have a good laugh.

what a funny baby!

Violet the SeaGal

Well Violet is Finally over the worse of her cold, she still has a little cough but she is feeling much better and finally eating like we want her to.

Violet got a Sea Gal outfit, she wore it for the first time today, it's a little big but she has time to grow into it before football season starts. Her cousin Olivia has a matching one also, maybe they will both fit into them better next year.

Today I had Violet sitting in her crib while I was getting her clothes ready for the day and she decided to pull herself up to a standing position all by herself! Time to lower the mattress!
She was so proud of herself!

While Violet was sick she only wanted to take baths, I think there was one day where we took 4 baths to make her happy. Her favorite thing to do is stand at the edge of the tub and watch the water fill up, she loves the tub, such a funny baby!

Hope everyone is having a great day! We Love you!
