Cow goes Moo, V sings Hey hey

Violet has been practicing her animal sounds for us, she usually has every animal go moo first but she is getting pretty good.  We also got her to sing her song from Blues Clues the Musical. So cute.

I had an appointment with my midwife and everything is going great. They moved my Due date up this time!  the new Date is August 31st. I am very excited they moved it up, every day counts!
I have an ultrasound scheduled in 2 weeks and we may see what color of clothes to buy it. I'm very excited about that, and Peter says at least once a day how badly he wants to know RIGHT NOW!

In other exciting family news, Bill is on a plane home from Brazil as I type this and his sweet little wife Michele will be on a plane and in WA before Easter! just in time for their one year anniversary.  Poor kids, it's been a long year, and now the interesting part begins!

Diana is coming to visit me in two weeks and I am so excited to see her, we plan to go shopping a lot! it's going to be a fun trip I'm hoping for some Sun so we can swim in the pool, we saw kids in the pool for the first time on Friday and I was hoping it would be warm again today but it was cold and windy ( well Texas' Version of cold).

John is heading over to WSU in a week or two to begin school, he is very excited to be getting out of Olympia and on with something new and hopefully more interesting.  He will be a Junior and wants to go to Dental school after he graduates.

My Parents just returned from a trip to Mexico and they are home now in cold WA, with three dogs ( Annie- who still rules like a queen, Betty- who is kind of a wimp but so sweet, and of course trigger who is more like a white cyclone than a dog!)

St Patrick's Day pictures

Violet and Wesley decorated green shamrock cookies, they had a lot of fun.  Wesley decorated his cookie and Violet just sat and ate the decorations and then at the cookie!

It was a beautiful sunny day, we spent some time outside, but we had to come in cause it was too hot! ( I try to make a big deal out of how warm it is to further entice my Dad to come visit) But yeah it was too hot in St. Patrick's day for us to stay out for too long!  :)

When these kids get together they just run around screaming for a while they are so excited to see each other.  They see each other probably at least once a week, it's always fun.

Two videos of some cute kids

On St. Patrick's Day the kids all got together and played, While Emily and Jonathan went to the Rodeo.  It was a fun night.  The video is of the kids running around being cute, they run around a lot so there is a lot of grass in the video.

The second Video is of Violet being absolutely cute.  There is a blues clues song she likes to sing, we were trying to get a video of her singing it but as soon as the camera turned on she started to play a fun game.  It was hilarious.

15 weeks and BBQ

Well I made it to 15 weeks. I am feeling great and starting to feel very small baby movements.  For my birthday I decided I wanted a BBQ and since I'll be so round and unable to use a BBQ in July Peter got me one I could use now.  I love it.  We had Emily and the family over and had some salmon, flank steak and Grilled pineapple along with some other things for dinner.  We had a really fun night and I really enjoyed learning how to Grill by myself for the first time.  It was raining while I was grilling so it truly reminded me of home!

Violet's up to no good

This is suppose to be at the end but I'm too lazy to fix it.  anyways this is the view from the dining room.
Violet and I were watching a cartoon the other day and I dozed off for a few minutes and when I woke I found that Violet had found my makeup bag unattended and made good use of my blush and powder to decorate her apparently boring outfit!
She later realized the error of her ways....make up goes on the face!

Now what do I do?  Take a bath and get changed! She's such a funny kid.  After this we went grocery shopping and finally got a goal completed!  We have wanted to put together 72 hour kits for our family and last night we bought all the food that goes in it and most of the other stuff we needed, it was so much fun.  We also had to do our regular grocery shopping so our cart was filled to the brim by the time we finished.  We ended up with two carts on the way out!  They have great coupons in the sunday paper and I saved $30 just in coupons!
Also exciting, we got new sofa's!  I think our living room looks bigger and it is so nice to have something to sit on.  I don't really like the throw pillows but I'll just make some cover's for them.

A day in the sun

On Friday Emily and I took the kids up to see Errin and Brandon.  They have a really cute house over in West Houston and we even met Duke their funny dog.  Violet liked Duke when he was in the kennel, he's taller than she is so she was a little intimidated by his size especially when he tried to give her a kiss!  After we met duke we all went to a park near their house and played.  There were play toys and swings and best of all a water fountain to play in!  We were barely able to get the kids to eat before they ran straight for the water.
Wesley being cute.
Sam will enjoy the fountain better when he perfects his balance and walking skills.  He took a few tumbles and was pretty mad about the whole situation, here he is after a particularly bad tumble that involved a nice squirt in the face.

Violet is not afraid of anything and is impossible to get out of the water, even when she is freezing cold!

Here is Brandon trying to convince Violet that she should get out of the fountain for a minute....she didn't leave until we dragged her out.

It was such a fun day and because it was so warm we all dried off rather quickly.  What a fun park, we'll have to go back with everyone and be more prepared for some time in the water this time.

Violet gets a big girl bed!!

Well I have a really cute video to post too but for some reason it won't work.  But here are some pictures of Violet and her new big girl bed.  She also got some new clothes and that includes her new shoes, which are pictured above.  Violet loves to put on her shoes and will wear shoes and just a diaper around the house.

Violet got a new big girl bed on Saturday.  We decided to go with the toddler size bed so we could still fit a crib in her room for when the new baby moves in there next year.  Violet really likes her new bed and can get in an out of it just fine.  She fell out once on Saturday night but slept the whole night in her bed and took a nap the next day in it.
We put her in her bed for a nap and she was a little fussy about taking a nap so we just shut the door and she got out of bed and played in her room for a while, then climbed back up into bed and slept for few hours.
One little monkey jumping on the bed!

The set up in Violet's room.

We also got a double stroller this weekend, it has a seat up front that a younger child can sit in and an infant car seat can attach too and then a little bench and platform that an older child (Violet) can sit or stand on.  It's great and fold flat with the push of a button, I am very excited about this stroller.  This makes 4 strollers for us...4 strollers 1 1/2 kids...ha ha ha.
I don't have much room for a garden but I am doing my best I decided to start with something pretty, so I bought a Camilia bush for our deck.  It has quite a few buds on it and should get large hot pink flowers this spring, I'll post more pictures as it progresses :)

Just a picture of Violet being cute.  We hope you all are having a great day.
