just a little bit of our lives.

Number one, this is Claire's face that says "how come there are no pictures of my cousins on the blog?" Violet is desperate for a new "Wesley" (thats what she calls pictures and videos of her cousins) We miss you!
This is Claire in the morning. She's not a morning baby.
Violets interest in potty training has gotten to the point where she will take her diaper off and play in the bathroom, but she isn't interested in actually using the potty.

Just a picture of me, I don't remember where we were going, but there I am.

Violet and Olivia "helped" Great grandma Shirley with her birthday Candles this St. Patricks day.

Claire has started to pull up on things, she can't always get down so she just starts to yell for someone to come save her. When she does this Violet runs up to me and says "Help! Claire is stuck!"

we frosted green cookies for St. Patty's Day, this is what happens when you give a six month old a cookie to frost. oh well she was happy.

Busted!!!

We have been enjoying our apartment complexes indoor pool. Violet and Claire love to go swimming. Well that is our life right now, we are having a pretty good time and we are settling into our new home nicely. Peter is enjoying his job and is already working on new projects, he is excited about his career options from here. I am having fun at home with the girls, now that they can sort of play together it is really fun to watch them interact and play.

What a Week

Well we made it through the moving process. After a week of unpacking and being mostly stuck indoors, V was ready for an afternoon out. Aunt Diana took her to Chuck E Cheese.
She had a blast!

Claire started to Crawl this week, she gets herself into all sorts of interesting places. She has also discovered that she likes animal crackers and she follow a crumb trail into this interesting place the other day.

V likes to toast cheers with us at dinner. She is such a funny kid.

Claire likes to eat everything, she had pizza with us the other night.

She is growing so fast, here she is sitting in V's booster seat.

And here is our new apartment. This is the living room from the kitchen.

and here is the kitchen. We ended up in a handicap accessible apartment so everything is bigger and the doors and hall are really wide. It's pretty nice.

This is our "backyard" I love it. We are on the bottom floor so we can just run out and play anytime we want.

Violet loves our new "yard"
She also loves that we can real quick walk down to Yauger park too.

I lost the beaters out of my Electric hand mixer so we made cookies in the food processor when we got back from our walk on Monday. It worked pretty well, and I've found some replacement beaters that I can buy.
Claire LOVED the cookies. It was a little difficult to get her to eat regular food after that.

We spend a lot of time in the tub, the girls love the tub. and they really like to take baths together.

Diana and I went to WWE's Smackdown last night. It was a lot of fun. I'm really tired today, but it was a fun time. I might even go again!

Just a quick update...Pictures to follow

Just a quick update.
We moved into our new apartment on Monday. We are still surrounded by boxes and bags of clothes and stuff we had forgotten we'd owned. Violet and Claire are doing well. They are sharing a room and are sleeping pretty well through the night, I have to say I'm impressed, they have exceeded my expectations. Claire is starting to crawl this week she loves to chase Violet down the hall. Well V stands still and V catches up to her. its been a fun busy week. We'll get pictures up soon!

Claire has started teething, this picture is when she finally fell asleep one night. poor baby isso congested and miserable. but the first tooth is the worst.

Claire can also do push ups and today she got up on her knees. I think we may have a crawler soon.
we went to the park today. it was still chilly but it was nice and sunny.

Violet had so much fun playing on the slide.

Couldn't find V today

I didn't know where V was today and I was looking around and I started to hear some knocking and I assumed she was in the bathroom making a mess. Instead I found her in a new hiding place. She is so funny, everyday she does something new.

Zoolights

Just some pictures of our trip to see the zoolights. Point Defiance Zoo does this every Christmas, it is so much fun. This Elephant is my favorite. It is just so simple.

Some pretty red trees.
Claire loved the lights. She is getting so big, she rolls over now and even has tried to push up on her knees. She loves to watch Violet and laughs a lot, she is such a happy baby. She also loves to just lay on her back and kick kick kick. Maybe we'll get a video of that soon.

Violet's favorite part of course was inside the aquarium, these are really the only animals you can see at zoolights, she loves fish so much and just gets so excited and runs back and forth from tank to tank pointing at all the fish. this was the first time my parents had been to the zoo with Violet and they loved watching her watch the fish.

A view up the hill. It is so much fun and really pretty, if you are ever in town during the Christmas season you should check out the Point Defiance zoo for Zoolights! We loved it.
