Itty Bitty T ball!

Just a quick note. We signed Violet up for Itty Bitty T ball today. We will get some schedules out the the grandparents and anyone who wants to come see something hilarious. The games will be every Friday starting July 9th thru August 13th, I don't have time or locations yet but I will let you know. The teams are for 3 to 5 year olds and it is suppose to be pretty funny. So more to come on that.
Side note, If you have anything funny to say send it to Katie we were thinking that laughing would start some contractions....worth a shot.

Just one more

This one is for G and G Corier. Violet loves her paint markers and enjoys painting herself....occasionally she will paint the paper. :)

It's been a while

Ok so It's been a while since I posted anything and a lot has happened and I have a lot of pictures that I put up on facebook but I just wanted to post a few of my favorites and tell you a little about what we've been up too! This picture is of Violet making some frames for Mothers day. It's that project where you make fingerprint bugs. It was really cute and Violet had a lot of fun, and made a big mess :)

These are just some pictures of the girls playing outside. Claire makes the funniest faces. They love running around in the grass barefoot (well Violet runs, Claire crawls)

The girls love to go to Grandma's! Claire isn't much of a colorer but she loves to chew on things. She finally has two teeth on the bottom and she is learning to use them, she occasionally bites her tongue but she is getting better with practice

Grandpa got a bubble machine and it is the coolest thing ever! the girls LOVED it !

Again, Claire likes to eat and chew on things so naturally she tried to eat the bubbles.

Claire likes to play in the fridge and check on her food, she seems happy with the current supply :)

Claire also unrolled the TP for the first time. She thinks it is so cool. Another reason to shut the bathroom door.

Violet turned 3 this month and even though she was sick and had to postpone her b-day party she got to go to G and G Corier's for a b-day dinner and presents. She had a great time and loves the presents she got.

We didn't let her destroy the cake but she did sneak a taste while we were getting the candles together.

Claire, just being cute. She likes dirt and grass, and like any teething child puts them in her mouth to see what they taste like. What a goof.

Peter turned 27! We had a party on Saturday and his friends came over and had a Wii tournament, Ben won. It was a great night. That cake was really hot, and it took Peter forever to get all the candles out but he did get them out in 1 breath. Impressive.

Saturday was also a great day because we got our first niece! Emily and Jonathan had there 3rd Child Allison. We are so excited to meet her and are looking forward to seeing all the cousins this August. We are just waiting for little Kya to arrive and we will have all 6 of the Corier grandchildren around for the summer.

It's going to be a good summer.

This is a life size sculpture of Joseph and Hyrum riding off to Carthage for the last time, very moving.
The statue of Joseph and Hyrum riding is to my back and I just turn around and the Temple is there. It was closed for maintenance we were unable to attend this trip.

Grandma Corier at her Christmas party at the Senior Center in Edmonds 2009 it was a very fun show and the band sounded great. Notice the walker parked in the back ground. They were parked all over the place it looked like a high school kegger for seniors citzs.

Mom on the actual Temple site in Far west

I thought that I should include some pictures with Aunt Julie in them so all would know that she too went with us. She and Uncle Denny were so very gracious with us we are looking forward to spending more time with them. This is the Kannesville Tabernacle in Council Bluffs Iowa where Brigham Young was sustained as the 2nd President of the church.

We three at Far West Mo. More Later.

Mom ANd ME and Aunt julie make three on our trip to Missouri

Mom and Me at Adam ondi ahman I thought I would take this picture because this is as close as I will ever get to doing any thing cool at this place, if you catch my drift. I understand that the big meeting will be by invitation only, so that will leave me out. However I have this idea about opening a bed and breakfast across the street with maybe some RV parking for" General Authorities" only, I of course would offer good rates. But as you look at the tree line in the distance that is the Grand river. Anson Call said that he bought a 1000 acres in this area before the mobs took it form Him, I found that interesting.
This is at Nauvoo at the corner of Kimball and Granger, this is where Cyril Call lived ( Anson's Father). This is just across the street from Brigham Young's house.
Mom and Me at Independence MO. this is where the Temple will be built in the New Jerusalem. There are 64 acres here and our church owns about 1/4 of that.
This was taken at Katie and Darins reception, one of my favorite pictures of our Grand sons and their Dad, I love them all.

I got for Christmas( from Uncle Shea) a do-hicky that makes slides into pictures. I found this picture of Me in Warren Ohio on my mission Aug 1971 I got to ask you . Would you listen to the Gospel from this Dude? That's OK not a lot of people did. More later.

Love to All Ole Dad

Soaking up some sun

Spring is finally here! It has been a typical Washington Spring, Snow, Hail, rain and occasionally some sunshine. We have been lucky to be able to get out and enjoy some of that sun lately. We went to the Procession of the species in Downtown Olympia a few weeks ago.

Claire slept through most of the procession and she made this face for the rest of it, so I guess she had fun :)

Violet loved the procession! When else do you get to color in the middle of the road and then watch a bunch of animals walk and dance by with a drum line?

My Dad put up a second swing for Claire at their house, Claire is new to swinging and promptly fell asleep.

Next we colored with sidewalk chalk in the backyard, it was a lot of fun. Claire mostly wanted to eat the chalk but she enjoyed crawling all over the pictures and looking at the colors.

Violet was swinging, drawing with sidewalk chalk, playing hopscotch and throwing balls for Trigger. The other day we were in our park and she called to all the dogs.....Betty! Trigger! Annie! Where are you?!
We love living by Yauger park. It is nice to be able to go and swing and run around and Baseball season has started so we will get to go watch games soon!

Claire has been sleeping in this swing, it has really solved our daytime nap problem. She falls asleep easily and Violet knows to leave her alone while she is swinging. (before she would nap in her crib and Violet would go wake her up to play)

While playing in our backyard today Violet decided Claire needed some stickers for decoration.
good thing I pulled them off because Claire got a little pink on her bald little head. That would have made for some interesting tan lines

Violet loves to play catch.

She also loves this echo Mic. I think every child just knows that you say Hellllooooooo into this thing.

This is one of my favorite Claire faces. Well, that is what we have been doing for the past few weeks. We are having lots of fun and miss our cousins, and are excited to see our 2 new girl cousins soon! Go Team Girls!!!!
