It's a little too quiet if you ask me

So I was downstairs working in the kitchen, Claire was sleeping in her swing Peter was at work, the grandparents were out of town and suddenly I realized.... I live with a 2 year old, it shouldn't be this quiet!!!!! So I ran upstairs wondering what mess awaited me, at first all I saw was a pile of wrapping paper and ribbons thrown on the floor... not too bad I thought and then Violet walked out of the bedroom looking like this. I just had to smile, I couldn't even think of getting mad at her it was so cute. yes this is permanent marker, yes she also scribbled on the computer (rubbing alcohol takes permanent marker off skin and computers by the way- Thanks for the tip Aunt K) Oh boy.

Violet realized the error of her ways. She really was upset when I put rubbing alcohol on her face to get rid of her artwork, but maybe that will deter her from future body art. sigh.... kids.

We also took her to the car wash the other day. We thought she would like it. I think it scared her. at the end when they are drying your car with the giant blowers she just started to shake it was so loud. Claire of course slept through the whole thing (I think she has selective hearing).

Just had to throw in a cheek picture of Claire. Cheekos is one of her many nicnames.
