Above: Claire stores her bink on her head during her nap.
The girls and I set up the tent in our living room to give it a test run before Peter's first scout camp out.
We went to La Conner for the weekend to see the tulips. On Friday Peter and the girls "played cards" Claire was apparently playing strip poker (and losing).
The campground was on the Swinomish Indian reservation. And we were right on the water. This weekend was the first sunny weekend we have had in a long time and it was GORGEOUS! I got to sneak down to the beach and take a few pictures. It was so warm and peaceful.
We went to Rozengaarde Tulips. They have a beautiful display garden to show all the types of tulips you can buy from them, and then they have two massive fields you can walk through, one of yellow daffodils and one of red tulips.
two beautiful girls in the tulip fields. I am so impressed, they didn't pick a single flower. We had so much fun.
we got back to our car and there was a whole line of antique cars! they were all so cool. I love old cars. here is a wheel off one of my favorites.

When we got back to the cabin we had another little easter egg hunt with the eggs the kids had dyed the night before.
Violet won when she got what she refers to as "7 Kings"
Maybe someday.
Well there you have it 31 of my favorite pictures out of the nearly 400 we took this week. There are some great ones on my facebook page, if you'd like to see them.
Hope you all had a wonderful weekend and were able to spend some time remembering our Savior Jesus Christ and his Life and resurrection. We are all so blessed because of his life. Have a wonderful day!

That tulip festival looks amazing. You're lucky to be able to see all that in person.
Great pictures! When you learn the story behind that street name, let me know, that's really funny. Also, the tulip festival looks beautiful - that's one place that I haven't been that is a must! The weather better pick up or I may never get there!
Looks like you guys had a great time. AND chose a good weekend to go. Nice work. Thanks for sharing!
