Princesses and puppy

Life is pretty good here in Oly.  So far we have survived the great snow storm.  We got about a foot of snow on this side of town which is quite a lot for over here.  We lost power for about 6 hours on Friday, and we were fine except for the boredom (it's amazing how much of our lives revolve around electricity!)    The girls got some new princess dress up stuff from Grandma and they love it!

We have been loving our puppy Zelda.  We are still perfecting the house training business but on a normal calm day she does pretty well.  we've all been home all week and stuck inside so it's been a little wild here as cabin fever sets in so accidents are more normal than we would like them to be but soon the snow will be melting and we will be back to normal.

Everyone's favorite thing to do is to snuggle with Zelda.  She is so sweet and so warm.  She loves to cuddle up right next to your face.

Zelda was reaching for a treat and fell asleep mid reach.  She sleeps so much, it is so cute.

The girls got their new bed this week.  It was my bed when I was a teenager.

 they love it!

 Getting ready to attack!

Sleeping on her lion pillow pet the night we brought her home.
That is pretty much all we have been up to this week, just playing dress up and playing with puppy.  We have been doing some de cluttering since Peter has been off work all week too (no power and no roads equals no work!) it has been kind of nice to just have a quiet week stuck in the house to do all the things we never do because we are too busy.  We've been sleeping late and watching movies and cooking good dinners, it's been like a little vacation :)  A vacation we are ready to have over though.  Soon the power will be back on all over town and we will return to school and work and regular life.
