Peter's Route

Tuesday- Peter has finally stopped for the night in Moab, UT. He just called and we figured out the best route to take for the rest of the trip, which is different from Moab than from Olympia.
He only has about 1200 miles left to go! yay! half way!
He'll go south on 191 which becomes 491, then hit 40 to go east to Amarillo. In Amarillo he'll head SE on 287 to the Fort Worth Dallas area where he will get on 45 going south into Houston.

Emily-Peter will probably call you tommorow evening to get from 1-45 south to your house.

I think Peter will get to Houston Thursday Evening. I'm so excited for him to get this drive over with.

Travel Update #2

Peter just called he is in Price Utah and plans to stop maybe near Moab, which is close to colorado. He drove through some snow in Southern Idaho and a little when he went through the mountains, but he says the further south he goes the nicer the weather gets. Tommorow he will clip the SW corner of Colorado and head into New Mexico. Once he crosses New Mexico he will cross into Texas and head down to Houston. I don't know how long it will take to cross New mexico but I think He'll probably be at Emily's sometime late thursday or early Friday. I'll have a better estimate tommorow.

humm

okay, so we have many more pictures to share, but for some reason I cannot post any more pictures. so, you might have to wait a few days until I can get around to posting again. . . sorry

what we've been up to

I realize that it has been a while since we last posted any thing, so I have a lot to say. Okay, not really, but here are some great pictures to share.

We had a great time in Washington . ONe day we all went to the zoo. We were all looking at the elephant. They had some cool animals there and the zoo keepers had a story to tell about each one. Wesley enjoyed seeing Grandpa Corier's truck. Typical boy, he loves anything with wheels.
At the Corier reunion we had a great time and we all shared a bed. (Welsey, Sam, and Mom-aka ME) One morning I awoke to find Wesley snuggled up to Sam. I could not resist taking a picture.

As Sam gets older he is beginning to really think about things like, "why am I sitting here."

Grandpa Hall passed away in July. We were really sad about that because Grandpa was a good friend to us while we were in Provo. We all went to his funeral in Provo and had a nice time reconnecting with a lot of family and friends. Sam had fun playing with cousin Nataile.

Trick or Trunk

I always put these pictures in the wrong order.  But these are the pictures from the last few days, Most of them are from our ward halloween party and trick or trunk.  Here Violet is hanging out with her Uncle John John and Trigger, who was a Mail Mutt for halloween.  Violet has chocolate all over her face.

Violet got a chance to just run around the parking lot and laugh,  she had so much fun, and came away with quite a haul of candy.

Violet really likes balloons, she chased this one around for the better part of an hour.

Violet played ghost bowling and knocked one down!  She won a bat ring!

Here we are all ready for the party.  I went as a tired mom...no costume required!

Here is Violet strutting down the hallway.  We use the hall as a catwalk when we dress up fancy!

Violet likes to run at the camera and make funny faces,  we end up with some really funny pictures this way.

Violet wasn't so sure about the wings when we first put them on.

Violet played with the pumpkin ball while I carved her first pumpkin.  We'll take a picture of her with her pumpkin on the real halloween.

With all the packing and Moving things around (we are moving to Houston)  Violet's old car seat came out of storage, she immediately climbed right in and kicked back to watch a show.  What a funny kid!
