this year Peter and I want to have a date night every week. With 2 small children it can be difficult to get out of the house for a traditional date every week and since money isn't always in abundance we wanted a fun, easy, inexpensive way to have date night all year. For our anniversary this year I found this idea on a blog called the dating Divas. Each week we will pull a date idea out of the jug and make plans to do that this week.
this week Peter pulled a really fun one, the comedy club date. We found some mad libs to do online and we came up with a really funny story, and then we watched a Brian Regan video on Netflix and we ate some laffy taffy and told the jokes. the laffy taffy was great the jokes were not :)
Date night made this weeks project with the girls much easier to get through. today we started the great toy sort of 2010! my living room is a disaster right now, but it will be nice when we finish, hopefully we finish soon!
Good grief! Look at all those toys....these girls are a little spoiled but they are happy so I'm happy to spoil them :)

Definitely check the blog out I love it. the blog is on the right hand side with all the blog links. We are sad we didn't get skype to work tonight, Katie wanted to see Allison. I hope all is well, keep us posted on all the business with goodcrane, I hope it all works out in the end. See you in October!

We are loving the jug of dates. If you go to the dating divas blog and search "can o dates" it gives a big list of fun dates to get you started.
